Partners can often be left feeling a bit lost or unhelpful during labour, with mum being the focus of all the attention. Similarly, mums can feel like they are all alone and nobody understands what they are going through. There are plenty of ways to get your partner involved during the birth, which are genuinely helpful to you. Your partner can be your birth advocate, making sure you are getting what you asked for. They can put everything they've learnt in antenatal classes to good use, especially a comforting and relaxing massage, back-rub or even just a cuddle. They can keep you cool and comfortable and just help keep your spirits up. Make sure you talk with your partner about the birth before you go into labour so you're both clear on their role and you feel like you are going into this together. If your partner is anxious, have them talk to the midwife about looking after you in labour, so they can have more confidence. They may be able to suggest some helpful jobs! For other tips, feel free to give us a call, email or live chat; we’re ready to help answer any questions you might have, no matter how big or small!

I have the utmost respect for single mums across the world, they are amazing! The things they do for their children, no matter the age. Ladies, whoever calls you lazy, says you're a 'couch potato' or not worth it, I want all of you to realize, you're all worth it! You're all amazing, and all so beautiful! If people could just stop, close their eyes and see with their heart, they would realize so much more, that single mothers, really are heroes, and deserve a lot more than what they get now, keep it up mums! You're all amazing.

Oh, congratulations! All the best for the exciting journey ahead of you!
So this is the second test that I did given that hubby didn't believe the faint line which showed up on the first two! After this he finally believed me. This is our first child and we have been trying to fall for 3+ years! So Excited!!!!
