Awesome kid's play tent
This is my Autumn project to make for Jasper - maybe it won't look this professional but a 2 1/2 year old isn't going to care right?
Anyone else have any projects for the Autumn?

1. His eyes tell me everything I need to know about his day.
2. His soft cheeks that are perfect for kissing.
3. The way he calls "Mumma?" first thing in the morning (even at 5am).
4. The cuddle I get whenever he sees me at the end of the day.
5. His amazing smile and infectious giggle.
6. The raspberries he blows on my tummy.
7. The way he cups my face and leans against my chin when he's tired.
8. His fearless approach to dancing in public.
9. Falling to sleep holding my hand next to his cheek.
10. That he'll always be my baby even though he's insists he's now a big boy.
What do you love about your bubs Mums?

So your bub is getting bigger, you might be thinking what else can I do with them to amuse them? Try handing over some items that make noise like a container full of dried beans or rice, but make sure it has a tight, secure lid, and try metal spoons, or bells and let them make lots of noise. It is a great fun for your little one albeit a little loud for mummy. ;) Another option is a little finger painting, yes a wee bit messy but heaps of fun. Or play a variation of the traditional peek-a-boo. Play peek-a-boo behind a chair, the curtains, the couch and even put on a hat and cover your eyes and watch your little one take your hat off and show excitement that they found you. It is so fun to see the joy in their eyes. What other things can you think of to do with your bub for amusement?

I was 25 weeks pregnant & I had a check up at my local hospital due to baby having a 'thicker nuchel fold'. The sonographer did an ultrasound plus an internal and I was told I was dilating. I was 2cm.
I was admitted to hospital for 6days so they could baby and I.
Baby stayed put and showed no more signs of exiting so we were sent home (on a Thursday)
That Saturday morning I woke to use the bathroom roughly 7:15am, I did my business then i went back to bed. 2minutes later I rushed back to the toilet to 'need to wee' again - My waters broke. I was 26+2 weeks.
We called the ambulance & were taken to the local hospital to be monitored while they were arranging beds at the Mater (Brisbane)
After 2hours of constant monitoring, I was transfered to the Mater.
I was given 6 steroid injections to help babys lungs if he had decided to come; And many tests to see what the story was.
3 days had passed, on the Monday I was having contractions 9 minutes, then 6 minutes then 30 seconds apart. Baby was hiding behind my placenta heading for my birth canel, but he was stuck and he was starting to stress out. So after 5 and half hours of pushing,
we all decided - all 7 doctors, 5 midwives and 2 nurses, myself and my son's father, we would have a C section.
I was told I had to have an emergency classical c section due to where baby was lying & stressed he was.
at 12:59am on Tuesday 12th of October, 2010 i had given birth to my 2lb 3oz baby boy, Zachery Walker Douglass.
I wasn't allowed to see him as he was blue, but his daddy saw him & was very sad.
(Fast forward a few days)
Zachery was taken to the NICU (Neonatal intensive care unit) where he was hooked up to machines and cords, oxygen, CPAP (breathing machine) and much more.
(fast forward 3months)
On the 7th of January 2011, 6 days before Zachery's due date, he was discharged and was able to go home.
Zachery came home on oxygen, which he was on for 4 months.
Our life in the NICU was terrifying, scary and very emotional, daily was a rollercoaster, never knowing if our baby was going to make it, never knowing what was causing his problems, never being able to stay with him 24/7, nap with him, feed him in the comfort
of our own home. It was all so surreal.
But, now, it's 2013 and my baby boy is nearly 2 and half and is thriving. He makes my everyday worth living and makes the premature family proud.

Brilliant news belwarren! Congrats and wishing you the best for a wonderful pregnancy!!
I made it to second trimester :) After 6 miscarriages and trying for 3 years I am finally getting excited for the new addition.
The last 2 days I haven't felt sick or thrown up and have been able to enjoy food so I am hoping that my horrid morning sickness has finally finished.
I am also getting round and showing which is great.
I recently lost 20kilos in 6 weeks due to morning sickness so I am hoping I can start putting the weight back on again. I would like to be able to enjoy this pregnancy.
Thank you. Your timeline has been set.
Thanks, we've got your details, we'll be in touch soon.
