...because thriving babies are happy babies

At 35 years old and heading towards my wedding day, my soon-to-be husband and I were very surprised to learn that we were already 10 weeks pregnant! Needless to say it was all a little unexpected – here I was thinking I was too old to keep up with the pace at work! But being a working mum and having a family is just so, so rewarding. Every morning I high-five my son and listen to the cutest words from my daughter, “have a lovely day, gorgeous princess mama”. Too precious, too cute. I love it! In my role as Community Manager, I’m rewarded with being able to share my stories while engaging with other mums and helping everyone to get the most out of their experience. Karimums offers us all a special place to share the stories that touch our hearts and ask the tough questions when we’re not feeling so confident.

Just wondering if there are any mums coffee clubs in Dee why at all?
Just moved here and feeling a bit lonely and missing friends, adult conversations ect.
We don't have a car so within bussing distance or walking distance is preferable.

On the back of Steph (community manger) departing from Karimums...so am I.
I have been juggling working with mums and babies at a birthing unit with keeping up with Karimums for a while now. I have thoroughly enjoyed chatting with many of you. I have such a passion for helping mums through pregnancy and those early weeks with a new
baby. Best wishes to you all!! xx
Another couple of midwives are joining the team, so look out for them, they have great experience to share.

Thank you KARIMUMS! It’s time for me to move on from my awesome role as community manager at Karimums – and it truly has been so much fun for me to share your stories and magical moments with YOU. Hand on heart, we’ve made some lovely friendships and connections here. The exciting news is there is a lovely new community manager who will take over from me – and you all get to meet her tomorrow! You’ll think she is amazing too – why? She’s a mum of course! Being a mum is totally, understandably, THE most rewarding, amazing experience we could ever ask for. Do I need to say anymore? Thanks to you all for being such a great community of amazing mums!
