Meeting your baby

Meeting your baby

This is me and my baby girl straight after the birth. I always thought that when I first saw my baby I would be crying and stuff like that, but I was just so tired and so relieved, so proud that we had done it without drugs and overwhelmed by the people in the room. When we got taken to the hospital room and were alone...it all came. I just stared at her for hours and didn't sleep a wink. I just bawled at this amazing little creature. How did you feel?

Thanks for sharing your special moment with us. I think that most women have such a flood of emotions at the moment they get to hold their little baby that they may not be able to put it into words...congratulations again! And what is her name?
