  • I've been taking my daughter for about 6 weeks. Initially it was because she just had such bad wind pains and forever waking at night with them. When we went to the chiro he also mentioned that her head was quite flat at the back and has been adjusting that too. She is much better in both areas.

Nice work Mums. Many of my friends have been really happy with results. How did you chose which chiro?

My husband goes to a chiro and when the boys were around 4 mths old he mentioned to chiro re reflux etc probs the boys were having. He suggested we bring them in - i was very skeptical, but it worked like magic!! After each visit they had the best sleep! They are 2 now and we still go every couple of months just to keep everything shmick!

I got a recommendation from a friend who had been taking her son for years. She also went to him throughout her next pregnancy & the took her daughter once she was born too. She said it helped a lot so I gave it a go!

  • Both my girls have been going to the Chiro since babies. I started taking my first daughter (who is now 4 1/2) to the chiro when she was about 3 mths due to she had silent reflux - at that stage she was on medication for the condition. I did not like the idea of her being on medication so I looked at other alternitives. It did not take long for the adjustments to take effect and beofore no time Elisha was off the medication and the reflux was in check. Chiro also worked wonders for the constipation she also experienced. When my 2nd daughter Caitlin was born she had her first adjusted at 3 days old, she has been a healthy happy baby with no real issues other than the odd cold. Another great example of how a chiro can help, Elisha recently had a eposide of torticolis - muscle spasam in her neck, Elisha was in great pain and could not move her neck much, I took her to the hospital and the Dr's had no suggestion than rest it for 24 to 48 hrs. Once I knew she did not have some other nasty illness, I took her to our Chiro Dr Bree Weber of Browns Plains Chiropractic centre (fabulous Chiro) she soon adjusted Elisha and gave her some releif, she had major improvement by next morning and once we had a 2nd adjustment she was back to normal. Any way I am a huge believer in Chiro it has greatly helped me and my kids. Once you find a great chiro you will never look back!

Reminds me of my near 2yo. She loves the chiro (even when it's not her turn). Just wait until he can climb up by himself to get adjusted. All of my six are seen regularly, and my youngest was 1 week when she was seen first. It really helps when they're not feeling well too... a pick-me-up for their immune systems!

Hi Yuz, how did you get on at the Chiropractors’? Are there specialist paediatric chiropractors? Would love to share the info with the community. Thanks!

  • ange29, you mentioned that the chiro also worked well for your child's constipation. How bad was her constipation and how old was she when you went to the chiro for constipation issues?
